A pursuit to perfection

So its been awhile since my last post. I do feel a bit embarrassed for my initial enthusiasm but hey I've swallowed the fact that life is a roller coaster that's why its fun. So the past few months have been extremely interesting for a fact that I've encountered so many stories from different walks of life.

So I was reading Malaysia Insider and have had a heated discussion with a dear friend which led to this writing. So, what is hot in the Malaysian news right now? Definitely the waiting game of the new birth of so called "Malaysia" on the 16th of September this year. Yes that's what's been anticipated by the silence many and I subject myself to that. A lot of events has taken place as a result of this call and one of it is Anwar Ibrahim stepping back in the parliament.

So in Malaysian Insider you will read about this arrogant Malay rambling about his Malay right and refuses to apologise. Some may question that statement I just made. He accuses the non-Malay, specifically the Chinese for questioning the Malay status. Well if he ever reads this, which one out a million chances which he will that the never did question of the Malay status, but merely voicing their concern about the injustices done by the large few that in the corridors of power to the ones who are suffering, be it Malay, or non-Malay. Now why do I express my concern about this matter maybe some may ask? Well this will relate to the next scenario which will lead to my final point.

I just had a heated discussion about politics with someone who shows supposedly no interest but had to voice his or her interest in none interest on the topic. Am I interested you may ask? Yes, but does that mean that I have the desire to be in politics or waste my time reading about politics? No. My interest is solely because of my own interest which is my strong facination in glorifying the purpose of the needy to possibly achieve greatness for the whole of mankind. Maybe that's far stretched so to be more realistic I'll settle for the greatness of Malaysia.

This person is sceptical that Malaysian politics scene could ever change the nature of our nation in heading towards something beneficiary to all. Well, I think that what he or she meant. My opinion is absolutely the opposite since we have all seen that Malaysia has change and by change I mean being able to practice the freedom to choose with the God given gift, WILL power. For so long we have been suppressed from using this gift through selected history and propaganda. Now finally with the power of internet, we have been given an option. The option is to oppose the evil. Amar Maaruf Nahi Mungkar. Now with this statement, I personally feel to have no opinion or interest over politics would possibly deny you your rights to express your view on matter and believes thus makes you life dull and sterile. I welcome someone to agree or disagree and maybe tell me a different option of statement as an example. So what is my view and purpose in life? Well for those who don't know, my view is that this world will never be perfect. We will have the disabled, the orphans and the poor, put simply the needy till the end of time and because of this will prevent this world from self destructing. I'll elaborate as efficiently as possible. The tsunami in Acheh not a punishment from God but a gift to the world, when everybody did not celebrate new year and felt humbled by the tragic event, and the person that handed Gods gift to you are the strong willed patient, devoted and all the good qualities put together people of Acheh. Lovely parents who are give the gift of a disabled child will make people understand that a helping hand is great gift for the mind and soul for understanding how fortunate you are. It was never a result of their or anyones sin. So there, that's my view in life imperfections which creates my pursuit to perfection. Now people may argue that alot of problem and imperfections from the beginning of time has been solved what makes this any different? it doesnt but like Murphys Law explains, new solution creates new problem. Aint life just facinating.

Now what is possibly my purpose or even greater my destiny? It is to glorify the purpose of the needy. Simple.

Here's a little story of my life. My mom has given me a gift by letting me embrace life's imperfection by sleeping in the same room with many orphan friends as a kid, study beside a poor kid in a village inside Kelate', and my cousin who lives with the down syndrome. So the needy is very dear to me despite the showers of "luxury" that I have been given by my parents. How does loving the needy have to do with politics? I'm sure all of you can do the math but I'm gonna paint the picture for you anyways. On the day when I will lead my pursuit in life, I cannot afford to be let down by a the fact that a person showing interest to the needy for selfish interest in wealth and recognition (so they can be called datuk and datin) and I could not afford to see wastage through corruption when there is definitely access wealth to assist my pursuit to happiness. I cannot afford to see that talented individuals who has no interest in accounting or architecture pursue this career path just because the were genius kids in school just because the government tells you so. My opinion is simple, civil does not in anyway mean accountants and architects but the whole package. Talented musician, poetic artist, caring nurses and care givers and intelligent religious teachers. We cannot afford to have those who are not interested in this subjects pursue it just because that's the only thing that is available since their interest in science and maths are deemed not suitable just because they got a C' for that subject in high school. A big NO NO because I hate waste. Don't waste that money. We've all got to pursue on things that makes us happy which is a dream for our parents as well. Deep inside they don't want us to be depressed. Now that is how we can measure civics. For Muslim, that is to me what ISLAM mean. Peace at heart.

Now, in the spirit of Ramadhan, let us all pray for peace at heart and if Amar Maaruf Nahi Mungkar doesnt let you got to sleep peacefully at night than we'll sit down with a coffee sometime after breakfast of course and discuss other options. There's maybe pills? Anyhu, this is my testimonial and I welcome in the future for others to drop Amar Maaruf Nahi Mungkar on me if i ever stray from my destiny. If you do that, I can assure you that both you and me will have an amzing journey just solving imperfections just to realise that new imperfection is born. Haha you gotta love life. Till then Peace and love to all. Long live justice be it PR or BN.

Its all about TIMING!

Its all about the timing.

This issue goes way back for me way back in my military school days. We use to have this torturous event called the change parade where our seniors would gather the whole batch and get us to change into different uniform in the space of 3 mins. At the word go the clock begins, we would run our ass of like as if a wild boar is chasing us and take off piece by piece of our clothing and change to a new one before the three minutes is up. Those who are let are separated from the group and are given much severe punishments and honestly I dont feel like talking about the details. Cut short, sweaty, vomit, bruise and filthy good clothes.

Sothats basically my background of keeping time in check but I do wonder how comedians pick up on timing. For some who dont know, timing is everything for them unless you look forward to having an awkward silence even worst shit thrown on ur face and even worst literally shit. My 'muqadimmah' may have been a bit long but hey its my head space and trying to paint you a nice picture. So I've been reading lately about the price hike in our beloved country Malaysia. Dont worry, its even felt here in New Zealand though the hype is probably not as big. I can give you another long story why it isn't so much of a big deal to the so called 'civilled' but I'll be mocking ur inteligence if I do.

So yeah, the government has increase the petrol price at home and of course people are pissed off. Bottom line is ¾ of the people cant afford it and yes thats is just based on my shallow assumption. All the argument that u have heard in regards to this matter are most probably true and the only thing I want to elaborate more is TIMING. So yeah I spare my time watching youtube and iv been waiting patiently for a Malaysian to 'buat kerja' by uploading the debate between PR and BN about the price hike. If im not mistake its Mr. Salehuddin and Mr. Shahril on RTM with 3 other members who are equally important. Its nice to see the government trying out the live debate thing on TV and its even cooler when they try to test ur intelligence. I dont want to talk about whats been spoken but I do want to capture one word the dude from agenda daily was saying, “Why now?” or if he's an UMNO man it'll be “why now la Datuk?”. Note that im pointing out how a lot of UMNO followers are suck ups. Ok back to the actual “why now?”. So this guy is complaining about the timing as in why not get rid of the subsidy a year ago when petrol prices had started to go up. Fair enough question but whats done is done, because that was a year ago. People can get a diploma in a space of 1 ½ years so you can guess how much research a economist can make with the same amount of time. My argument is if you have to spill the joke for goodness sake time it man! To lay a smack down, you gotta toss him around the ring first, do a low blow, get the bitch outside of the ring to distract ur opponent then u lay a smack down. Ni baru peluk sikit, boom smack down. WWE wont be where they are now if wrestling is like that. Same goes for the Flip Flopper Pak Lah, a day or to ago u say it will in a few months 24-48 hours later u say its already up and even worst its a big smack in the face. Salehuddin made a good point this crisis need more than just the 'jemaah menteri' to decide since this issue is so delicate to the malaysian ppl and economy.

Im sure you've heard this over and over by im gonna repeat just a bit that we've been so used to it and spoilt and mind u that UMNO wanted to be the boss that spoils us(mainly Malays) now u want to blame us that we're spoilt. Yes I personally believe and agree that its about time we stand with our own to feet but from my observation as a 'Y generation' you've not done much to fulfil the soul. I do not want to dismiss the fact that 5 states was an evidence that there is an awaking amongst Malaysians. You've done nothing by satisfy our lust for things which in the end most Malaysian still fail to know how to use or even maintain. Its built nothing but a hypocrite Malaysia with the towers and what not and this exactly fits the description 'dont judge a book by its cover'. So yes this is the issue and fix this first by preparing people and since this are trialling times for everyone in the world do it in a fast and thorough mode.

Ok I'm not one who wants to end up an old had that bitches and moans about every single problem without any solution. You Mr. Syahril have kindly acknowledge that constructive opinion helps. Well here's mine. I know we need to prepare for the future and oil is running out. We need to sustain ourselves in the very near future and we need money to do this. I also know about revenue bu I do know there is profit and it was constant for along time and it manage to built a lot of sky scrappers. Though I have my opinion about them but what has become shall stay. Now, you mention about the future, my impression forom the BN is always things. I say enough. Focus and I repeat FOCUS on the soul. Food for the soul is knowledge. We have enough toys. Do and effective campaign of the fuel crisis and educate ppl what needs to happen before it too late. Give them time. Spill out the truth even if its ugly thats how my mom used to do it and she still does it. More Universities as mention by Raja Petra and find a way to effectively reach the senior citizens and bloody educate them as much as you could and as much as they can absorb. No more secrecy because you know its not working now that everybody loves youtube since they have music with boobs in it and politics. Profit has always been there and before you want ot ask the Rakyat a favor by lessening ur burden prepare them for it. After all this is done then you lay down the joke. Timing man timing. I seriously doubt there is a lot of smart people in the present government and and even if the do I dont think they are heard. If this shit goes on, we'll probably see a new comedian coming September and all of us having the last laugh because we got the joke. Ok its bloody late and I'm signing off. Peace and love

P.S: Here's a method, check out the how the Selangor government is dealing with the water subsidy. If I understand correctly, they've divided the usage into needs and wants which prevents wastage. The application? well whats the use of the smart card that the government issued to us Malaysian. Maybe finally we could get into good use for the first time and if my understanding of technology is adequate, the card should be able to handle it. Ok done.

To paint an introduction

Shaka la ka lum with my mouth whispering assalamualaikum and Hello A'aaachum! to all readers. I've been meaning to type a blog for ages and finally a shooting sky from the milky heavens hit me smack right in the head and gave me an inspiration. This blog, if it exists long enough will be my rambling in a conversational environment that does not represent the living or the dead. My main inspiration of the fairy tale story I make will be based on news events that is happening Malaysia that I feel is worth turning into a good conversation.

No why, ask a little boy sitting on my lap. Heh. I feel that sometimes ppl continue to be brainwashed and some are just hard to unscrew because they cannot paint the so called political rumors on top of their headspace. Well this is where this blog comes in. I'm gonna approach this creatively, most of the time excessive and maybe even in a magical dust sort of way so that we could either see that the scenario that I am trying to paint is a serious issue or a silly one thus laughing at the joker that is included in the scenario.

I happily say that I will most probably pick my article from my favourite journalist, Mr. Pete or Raja Petra or the Peter man! If ever u you are reading this Raja Petra, you are my Peter Man since u told me how to fly by freeing the mind. So peace. Now back to the pickings. Pickings are slim lately on good news mainly because a lot of the mainstream are rubbish. Funny now rubbish coulb be the news that is sweet by me because that would be worth writing now wouldnt it. -Note to self- They've got a lot of work to fix their integrity to gain everybodys trusts. The thing with Pete is that he writes well and it makes me happy. Like a lame groupie I have to admit I check his website all the time I get a hold of the internet to see if he's got anything fresh and juicy. Hmmmm juice I'd like one now pls. So Pete it is mainly the main source of resource. Since this space is free I dont have to worry too much over my customers.

Ok. I'm pretty happy with my introduction. after this, be prepared for my first article which i'm guessing will be in the line of political strategy and how clever it is and how stupid some of us thing of the Prime Minister he maybe clever. I'm still picking idea from petes space. Till then have a nice night everychios! peace
